The All New Americamps KOA, Richmond Campground

We returned to Americamps KOA in the fall of 2010 on our way South. We could not believe the difference from when we stayed in 2008. Every site has been improved. Amazing transformation to a modern, clean and safe RV facility.

Our site with free Cable TV and good Wi-Fi handled our big rig beautifully. From the front desk check-in to the escort service, the staff was exceptionally friendly. 10 points out of 10! BRAVO!

The All New Americamps KOA now has completed (finally!) a total renovation with 198 pristine, full hook-up sites, including 105 pull thru sites and 93 easy access back-in sites. We are big rig friendly with a Southern Charm.

Every year, in the spring and fall we provide shuttle service to the Richmond International Raceway for the NASCAR event. Please reserve early for Race Week as we fill up quickly.

When you get hungry, we have some really good nearby restaurants, many of which deliver to Americamps KOA, and the nearby golf courses are world class (public: Mattaponi, Independence, and Sycamore, and private: Kinloch).
